Water and Sanitation

Lack of clean water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene practices are a major cause of death and illness among in Uganda and the whole world at large. This particularly affects the children’s health as well. This program looks at increasing access to clean water and improved sanitation as well as availing water for other uses. This is achieved through practical solutions like carrying out exploration and drilling for water, protection of water catchment areas by planting tall grass around them as well as sensitization of the local communities on proper management of these water sources, effective methods to obtain clean drinking water.
