Uganda Women Development Network (UWODEN) is a women led organization which was formed in January, 2014 in Isingiro District with the aim of inspiring and empowering all Ugandans.

We improve community health and well-being by increasing access to safe water, sanitation, hygiene and basic health services, with women playing a central role in the design and implementation of these solutions. We support women and households to develop sustainable, climate-smart livelihoods that strengthen economic resilience. By promoting practical income-generating activities and environmentally responsible practices, we help communities adapt to climate challenges while improving their economic stability.
We provide skills training and applied learning opportunities that equip women and communities with the ability to design and implement solutions to real-life challenges. Our focus is on practical knowledge that drives self-reliance, innovation and long-term development.
