Empowering Women, Transforming Communities.
Uganda Women Development Network (UWODEN) is a women led organization which was formed in January, 2014 in Isingiro District with the aim of inspiring and empowering all Ugandans to develop themselves, economically, politically and socially. As UWODEN, we recognize the need to expand opportunities and use the available alternatives for improving access to basic services for Ugandans as a means for sustainable inclusive development and a better life. We believe that every woman deserves access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, and we work tirelessly to make this a reality.
To mold the future of the people of Uganda by providing opportunities for development and fostering their growth through the various programs.
To have a community of well-established people with a strong economic, political and social status by 2050.
The principles that guide our work and impact.
We ensure timely delivery of the necessary information such as reports, financial statements as well as project results to the people.
The world is just a small global village which makes us put ourselves in the shoes of the people that we serve. With this virtue we provide the best services to the people.
We believe that all humans have equal rights and that is why we consider serving the very best to all people regardless of their political status, religious affiliation, gender, age or physical ability.
We are accountable for every decision that we make and take responsibility of the out comes of our decisions.
The dedicated individuals behind UWODEN.
