Empowering Women, Transforming Communities.
Uganda Women Development Network (UWODEN) is a women-led community organization founded in December, 2021 in Isingiro District to empower women as champions of community development. As UWODEN, we recognize the need to expand opportunities and use the available alternatives for improving access to basic services for Ugandans as a means for sustainable inclusive development and a better life. We believe that every woman deserves access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, and we work tirelessly to make this a reality.
To empower women as champions of community development by equipping them with practical skills, resources and opportunities to design and implement solutions that respond to real community needs.
A Uganda where women lead sustainable solutions that create resilient and self-sustaining communities.
The principles that guide our work and impact.
We ensure timely delivery of the necessary information such as reports, financial statements as well as project results to the people.
The world is just a small global village which makes us put ourselves in the shoes of the people that we serve. With this virtue we provide the best services to the people.
We believe that all humans have equal rights and that is why we consider serving the very best to all people regardless of their political status, religious affiliation, gender, age or physical ability.
We are accountable for every decision that we make and take responsibility of the out comes of our decisions.
The dedicated individuals behind UWODEN.
